Bricks and Blocks

Bricks and blocks typically contain coarser aggregates than for example paving stones. That means the surface is raugh and open-pored. Here, the use of steam is recommended because steam contains a lot of water and is a very good heat transfer medium.


In addition, fly ash is used in many blocks. Fly ash becomes hydraulic at a certain temperature and then acts (like cement) as a glue. Thus, a part of the cement can be saved.
